Balance it Out (Voss, Norway) keeps this simple: we collect as little as possible, and we never sell or share your data for marketing.

What we collect and why

• Name and email — when you join the email list (legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw anytime by unsubscribing).
• Booking information — name, email, and payment confirmation when you book a session (legal basis: fulfilling our agreement with you).
• Messages you send us — so we can reply (legal basis: legitimate interest in answering you).

Who processes your data

We use a small number of trusted services that process data on our behalf: MailerLite (email list), Stripe (payments), and WordPress.com (website hosting). Each has its own GDPR-compliant privacy terms.

How long we keep it

Email list: until you unsubscribe. Booking and payment records: as long as Norwegian bookkeeping rules require, then deleted.

Your rights

You can ask at any time to see, correct, or delete the data we hold about you, or to withdraw consent. Just email us and we’ll sort it out. You can also complain to Datatilsynet, the Norwegian Data Protection Authority.
